SDK.finance Pre-Engagement & NDA Policy

Last updated: 2025

At SDK.finance we aim to keep our communication clear, efficient and comfortable for all prospective clients and partners.

To support this, we maintain a simple and transparent policy regarding NDAs and the exchange of information prior to entering into commercial agreements.

1. Confidentiality within Our Standard Contracts

SDK.finance does not use separate NDAs during early-stage discussions.

All confidentiality provisions are already included in our licensing agreements:

  • SaaS License Agreement
  • Source Code License Contract

Once one of these agreements is signed, a full confidentiality framework automatically comes into effect.

This ensures consistent legal protection without requiring additional documents.

2. All Platform Information Is Public

To help prospective clients evaluate whether our technology is a good fit, SDK.finance provides complete, open access to all essential information:

  • Architecture overview
  • API documentation
  • Integration principles
  • Platform capabilities
  • Technical requirements
  • Product demos

These materials are available at:

https://sdk.finance/getting-started/

https://sdk.finance/knowledge-base/

https://api-back.sdk.finance/swagger/

Because all core platform information is publicly accessible, no NDA is required to understand how SDK.finance works or what it can offer.

3. Early Discussions Do Not Require Confidential Information

Introductory conversations and initial discovery do not involve any confidential SDK.finance data and do not require clients to disclose confidential details about their own projects.

At this stage, discussions usually cover:

  • Business goals at a general level
  • Required capabilities
  • Architectural expectations
  • Licensing model and delivery approach

This high-level dialogue is standard practice in the UK/EU software market and does not trigger the need for an NDA.

If a prospective client prefers not to describe certain specifics, they may rely on the public materials to conduct their evaluation until they are ready to move forward.

4. No Custom Proposals or Confidential SoWs Before Contract

SDK.finance operates as a product company: the platform is provided as-is, with clearly defined components.

Therefore, before a commercial agreement is in place, we do not:

  • Analyse confidential documents
  • Request project-specific details
  • Prepare custom Statements of Work
  • Evaluate proprietary business models
  • Provide pre-contract architectural consultation

Clients are encouraged to review the available documentation and determine how they intend to use the platform based on their own project vision.

5. When an NDA Applies

A confidentiality obligation becomes active automatically when a client signs one of our standard licensing agreements.

From that point forward, both parties may exchange confidential information as needed for collaboration.

No additional NDA documents are required.

6. Summary

Our approach ensures clarity, efficiency and a consistent process:

  • Preliminary discussions rely only on public information
  • Clients are not required to disclose confidential details early on
  • All confidentiality protections are embedded directly into our commercial contracts
  • Separate NDAs are not used at the evaluation stage

This policy helps streamline communication and ensures that both sides understand the framework from the very beginning.
