The Cashier is the system role for managing the financial transactions and operations of a Cash Desk within the organization. Here are the key responsibilities and processes related to the Cashier role:
- Opening and Closing Cash Desks:
- Opening: The Cashier initiates the working day by accessing the “Cash desks” section through the “CFO/Cashier” menu. If the working day has not started, the Cashier is presented with the blank screen and an option to open the cash desk for the day. This involves counting and inputting the actual cash amounts for each currency, ensuring that the initial balances are accurately recorded.
- Closing: At the end of the working day, the Cashier is responsible for closing the cash desk. This involves finalizing all transactions and ensuring that the recorded cash amounts match the actual cash on hand.
- Managing Daily Operations:
- Throughout the day, the Cashier handles various transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and other financial operations. These transactions are tracked and managed via the “Working hours” form, which lists all operations performed during the day.
- If no operations have been conducted, an empty list is displayed.
