Top-up via Cashdesk

There are main entities and processes implemented for cash top up.

Cashier – The Сashier is an actor in the system that performs operations “Top-up” and “Withdrawal” of funds from wallets through the cash desk of the company.

Cash Desk – is the entity that operates with cash. On the system level cash desk is the type of organization to which roles of Cashiers belong. There can be several cash desks in the system.

Wallet top-up via cash desk is different from other top-ups in its accounting which is developed in a way that allows tracking balances for both entities:

  • Cash desk, where top-up is performed
  • Business user, Individual or Merchant, whose wallet was topped up

Top-up via cash desk can be used when cash is physically inputted to the cash desk or self-service device, like a kiosk or ATM.
To represent it in the system, money is loaded to both wallets, cash desk wallet and client’s wallet.

Wallet top-up via the cash desk can be done by the service user, usually the cashier of the definite cash desk, with appropriate permissions only if the working day for this cash desk is opened.
