Roles and Permissions

A Service User with the appropriate permissions can perform the following actions:
- Create a new service role.
- Delete a service role.
- Modify permissions for an existing service role.
- Update service role permissions.
- Change the role assigned to an existing service user.
- Retrieve a list of roles, with or without details, using filters.
- Activate or deactivate an existing role.
- Retrieve a list of roles that can be assigned to users by the provided role.
- Retrieve a complete list of all existing permissions.
- Retrieve the permissions assigned to a specific role as well as those assigned to the caller’s role.
The functionality displayed to users in the UI is determined by permissions rather than roles. If the permissions associated with a role are updated, the displayed functionality will align with the new permissions upon the user’s next login.
